In this project we study sedimentary rocks of the Dahomey Basin, Nigera. Based on core logging, selected samples are taken for petrohyiscal and diagensis studies. The paragenetic sequence of Mesozoic and Cenozoic rocks will be established, and reservoir quality assessed. This is followed by an interpretation of a 3D seismic volume offshore, to better constrain the fluid pathways in the subsurface.
